how to foster creativity for children

So at first, I will prepare a condusive environment which is spacious and safe for the children. Before the class starts, I will arrange all the furniture to aside and get ready with the structure construction toys.

In the play and learning time, I will allow the children to play with those legos, blocks or wood and other toys. So I will encourage them to use their own imagination in order to yield innovative young generations, by uttering words that induce their enthusiasm. If the children have to build a cat using different coloured blocks with different regular shapes, then I will describes to them that they have to used a yellow circle as the head of the cat, a blue rectangle as the body and a red small rectangle as the tail and the legs.

In order word, I will explain laboriously about the colours and shapes. Probably, I will allow the children to initiate their own play using those materials. It is more on child-centred approach because I think that this way of creative learning helps the children better.

Then, I will gradually increase the complexity of the toys, maybe by providing the children with the irregular-shaped blocks and with a rainbow of colours. This can help to foster the children’s creativity.
